Sonny Hunt Obituary
JONESBORO - Sonny Hunt, 68, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born in Jonesboro to the late Jimmy and Cora Hunt on Oct. 19, 1956.
His visitation will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 28, at Emerson Funeral Home, with the service following at 3 p.m.

I'm saddened to see that Sonny has passed away. I haven't see him nor Tina since the 70s. My mom was best friend's with Cora and it was very troubling when Cora passed from us. I did not know Sonny that closely....however, I admired him immensely. He was such a masterful, unassuming guitar maestro that let his play speak for him. That will certainly be missed.
RIP Sonny.....hope you´re shredding with some of the best!!!
