Sue Cook Obituary

JONESBORO - Lena "Sue" Cook, 90, of Jonesboro, peacefully departed this life Tuesday, April 15, 2024, at The Springs of Jonesboro. Born on Oct. 17, 1933, in Brookland, Sue was the daughter of the late George and Aleen Gambill. She graduated from Brookland High School.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dutch Cook, her son, Eddie Cook, and several brothers and sisters.

Sue is survived by her sister, Mary Lewis of Paragould, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held starting at 9 a.m. and concluding at 10 a.m. Thursday at Emerson Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in Pine Log Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Sue.
