JONESBORO - Suzette (Lamesa) Davidson, 65, of Jonesboro, passed peacefully from this life on May 26, 2024. She was born in Brookland on Jan. 7, 1959, to Gilbert and Janette (Thelma) Futrell.
She was a resident of the Brookland/Jonesboro area her entire life. She graduated from Brookland High School then became a cosmetologist and cosmetology instructor. She married the love of her life, Larry (Fuzz) Davidson in 1977. They were happily married until his passing in 2013.
In 1996, they bought Arkansas Academy of Hair Design. She has owned and operated the two locations for the past several years. She has touched the lives of many colleagues and students throughout her career as a hairstylist and educator. Not to mention the thousands of friends, clients, and customers she has brightened the lives of throughout her career. She was one of the most generous, thoughtful, and sweetest people who blessed so many lives. She volunteered her time and talents to mission work as well as the Pine Log Cemetery Board of Directors.
Suzette loved laughter, life, road trips, crafting, and Christmas. But most of all, she loved her family. Words cannot express how much she will be missed.
Suzette was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, April Estrada.
She is survived by one brother, Steve (Connie) Futrell; sister-in-law, Sue (W.C.) Doyle; nieces and nephews, Stephanie (Todd) Long, Steven (Amanda) Futrell, Courtney (Kevin) DeVries, Sarah Doyle and Jessica (Rodney) Webb; grandson, Erick (Chastity) Estrada; granddaughter, Leslie Davidson; and several greats, Hunter, Bryson, Bailey, Elizabeth, Larrah Beth, Alejandro, Allyson, Fernando, Creed, Hayden, and Zachary.
