Troy Wilson Obituary

TRUMANN - Troy Lee Wilson, 63, of Trumann, departed this life Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024. Troy was born in Judd Hill and had lived most of his life in Trumann. He was an Army veteran and a member of New Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lee Scott Richardson, two brothers, Terry Richardson and J.W. Scott, and his grandparents.

He is survived by two sons, Louis (Terri) Wilson of Jonesboro and Chris (Mariana) Norman of Yuma Ariz.; one daughter, Buffy (Billy) McCorkle of Trumann; two sisters, Lucy Sullivan of Omaha, Neb., and Mattie (Sylvester) Wortham of Trumann; three brothers, James (Linda) Jamison and Richard Joiner of Trumann and Tommy Richardson of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. A celebration of his life will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Aaron Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Judd Hill Cemetery.
