STRAWBERRY - Warren D. Burks, 94, of Strawberry, passed away Sunday, Nov. 10, 2024, at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
Warren was born in Minturn on May 21, 1930, to James E. Burks and Minnie Anderson Burks. Warren was a member of Lake Charles Full Gospel Church and made a living by cutting wood.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary Cagle; son, Bobby Maynard; brothers, James H. Duckworth, Charles Burks, Jay C. Burks and Mike Burks; sisters, Wilma Burks and Stella Burks; and nephew, Bobby Burks Jr.
Warren is survived by his brother, Bobby (Patsy) Burks; sister, Shirley (Leroy) Holmes; and niece Amanda (Justin) Stanfill.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Lynn with funeral services starting at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Kelly Cemetery at Imboden.
All services are under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge and Lynn.
