Adeline Y. (Farrick) Carson, 95, of Enfield, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 11, 2024. She was born on May 5, 1929, in Sunderland, MA to Peter and Stella (Kulesa) Farrick. Adele was preceded in death by her husband, Milford (Barney) Carson, whom she married on May 17, 1951. They raised their family in Enfield.
Adele excelled in art at Enfield High School and produced line art and watercolors throughout her life. Adele participated in the PTA, neighborhood "Sewing Club", Enfield Volunteer Fire Department functions, and organized her Enfield High School class of 1945 reunions into the 2000s. For years, she worked as office manager for Karandrew Turf Farms, Suffield, CT. She was an Enfield Congregational Church member, worked at their "Nearly New" Shop, and treasured her church friendships.
Adele is survived by her sons: Eric Carson and wife Donna, Christopher Carson and wife Sharon, Jonathan Carson and wife Barbara, and Milford (Ford) Carson Jr. and wife Susan; grandchildren, Ariel Carson, Jessica Carson, Alli Carson, Katie Carson, Jackson Carson, and Anna Carson; nephews, John Albee and Jeffery Bauer; and nieces, Doree Ann Bauer and Susan Pearson. Adele was predeceased by her parents, sisters, Annette Bauer and Emily Albee.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 31, from 4:00PM – 6:00PM at the Cremation Society of Connecticut, 807 Bloomfield Dr., Windsor, CT. A memorial service / burial will take place on Friday, November 1, at 11:00AM at The Enfield St. Cemetery, 1183 Enfield St. 06082.
