Alexander Fisher Obituary

Alexander "Alex" Dean Fisher, 22, of Enfield, beloved son, grandson, brother, cousin, and friend, passed away at home Friday, Sept. 30, 2016.

Alex was born in Hartford Aug. 16, 1994, and lived in the Enfield community all of his life. He was a graduate of Enfield High School, Class of 2012. He was earning a degree in marketing at the University of Hartford and was employed at his family's business, Kelly Construction Services Inc. Alex was a kind, compassionate, loving soul who had an amazing, witty sense of humor and was well loved by all who knew him. A true gentleman, Alex's bright smile and bubbly personality touched many lives. He loved playing soccer, especially intramural soccer at the University of Hartford. His favorite soccer team was the Tottenham Spurs. Alex also enjoyed skiing and playing football with his friends. He enjoyed the outdoors and going camping. He loved his two dogs, Jack and Nyah, and his dad's dog, Chapo.

Alex is survived by his mother, Kelly Fisher; his father, Dean Fisher; his sister, Danielle Fisher, all of Enfield; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Eastman, of Enfield; several aunts and uncles, Daniel Eastman and his wife, Amy, of Somers, Phyllis Bartos and her husband, Dave, of Naples, Florida, Cynthia Eastman, of Windsor Locks, Sue Rivard and her husband, Paul, of Enfield, and Paula Woodhouse and her husband, Craig, of Granby; and many cousins. Alex was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Elwood Eastman; and his paternal grandparents, William and Isabelle Fisher; as well as an uncle, Gary Fisher.

Visitation hours will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. today, Monday, Oct. 3, at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Leete-Stevens. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Alex's memory may be made to Double Dog Rescue Inc., or The Courage to Speak Foundation.
