Anthony Latina Obituary

Anthony V. Latina, 60, of South Windsor, died peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023, at home surrounded by his family.

He was born on Aug. 18, 1962, in Hartford, son of the late Virgilio and Alice (Mallon) Latina. He grew up in East Hartford and graduated from East Hartford High School in 1980. Anthony enlisted in the Air Force and served for five years and continued with the Air National Guard. Upon returning from the service Anthony worked as a landscaper. He enjoyed sports, especially baseball a sport he loved to play as a child. He had a big heart and was extremely charitable. He will be dearly missed.

He leaves his siblings, Laura Davis and her husband, Mark of Rhode Island, Susan Ortiz of New York, Gregory Latina of Connecticut, and Nancy Marino of Florida; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services and burial will be private at the request of his family.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 and/or Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675.
