Barbara Potter Obituary

Barbara Potter
March 1, 2024
Barbara, daughter of Samuel Irwin and Elvira Irwin, born July 15th 1939, passed away March 1st, 2024. Barbara lived in Florida, working at Pratt & Whitney for a number of years, returning to Manchester in the early 1990s to live on Glenwood Street.
Barbara was an engaging and social lady, an active member in the Manchester and Bolton Senior Centers. She loved the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. Donning festive attire, she would swing through Manchester Hospital visiting patients and bringing them cheer. This past Christmas, Barbara was all about the wonderful time she had on the holiday light tour with Bolton Seniors.
I hope that her many friends and former and current neighbors will remember Barbara. My parents (former neighbors), my husband and I loved her. We miss her bright positive spirit. I bet she's having Halloween and Christmas all the time!

I worked with Barbara for many years at Pratt & Whitney. I'm sorry we lost touch after she moved to Florida. She was a special person. I stopped receiving the Journal Inquirer sometime ago and just now realized I could catch up on things online. My thoughts and prayers go to her friends and family.
