Benjamin Hamm Obituary
Benjamin Richard Peter Hamm, 44, of Manchester, formerly of South Windsor, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Hartford Hospital. Ben was born in American Fork, UT, the son of Jeffrey Craig Wurmnest and Bonnie (Morneault) Wurmnest. He was a graduate of South Windsor High School. Ben loved to spend time outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandfather as a young man. Maine was his favorite spot. Ben had a special place in his heart for his faithful companion Willie. Along with his parents, Craig and Bonnie of South Windsor, he leaves his brother, Jeffrey C. Wurmnest, Jr., of Broad Brook and his sister, Amanda Wurmnest and her fiancé Nick Bartone of South Windsor.
His family will receive friends for calling hours on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 1-3 p.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor. For online condolences, please visit www.carmonfuneralhome.com
