Brian Foley Obituary

"He had the courage to speak his mind and he was kind and generous to a fault."

Brian C. Foley, died on Feb. 19, 2023, beloved husband of 41 years to Sandra Foley. Born on Nov. 27, 1944, in Plainville, he was the son of the late Clarence and Esther Foley.

Brian was a lifelong resident of Manchester, a graduate of Ward School of Electronics and then served with the United States Navy. He loved antique automobiles and his annual trip to the Hershey Antique Car Show for 60 years. Brian worked at Gerber Scientific, in Quality Control for 39 years, retiring in 1999.

He leaves his Uncle Robert Gorman; many cousins, and many loyal lifelong friends, who will miss him dearly.

Family and friends may call on the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, on Thursday, Feb. 23, from 4 to 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Feb. 24, at 9:30 a.m., at St. James Church, 896 Main St., in Manchester, burial to follow at East Cemetery.
