To the family of Brian,
You do not know me, I cared for Brian on the night shift at Woodlake. He was a wonderful man who fought the battle he was faced with, with such courage. He spoke of his family with such love and pride. We talked of simple things about
family life-we both have daughters named Colleen and though we never did have a son, the name we had chosen if that event were to occur was Sean. We laughed about that because I had three other daughters named Kelley, Tara and Erin and Brian asked if we stopped because we were running out of Irish names??!! He was so sad about the timing of Colleeen's wedding and so wanted to hang on for that day, but sadly it was not to be. But, Colleen, you know that he will be with you every minute of that day. Listen with your heart I am sure he will send many messages and make his presence known. You will carry him in your heart that day and you will be happy. That was his most fervent wish that you not be sad. Your smiles on that day will be the best gift you can give him. I wish all of you in time beautiful memories and inner peace. I don't know if you have heard this message before, someone sent it to me when my good friend died and I kept it in my heart and it brought comfort, "Those whom we love and lose are no longer where they were before. They are now wherever we are."
God bless you all, I will keep you in my prayers.
