Caroline Kamay Obituary

Caroline J. Kamay
Caroline J. (Bielonko) Kamay, 95, wife of the late Stanley Kamay, passed away on May 24, 2024, surrounded by love. Born August 8, 1928 in Suffield to the late Benjamin Bielonko and Caroline (Sliwa) Bielonko, Caroline grew up in Suffield on the family farm where she always shared wonderful childhood memories. She raised her family and lived most of her life in Enfield.
Caroline was employed for 27 years and retired from Hallmark Cards. Those who knew Caroline loved her. She always had a kind word and welcomed guests with a wonderful meal. She and Stanley attended Polish dances and made many long-lasting friendships.
She is survived by her two daughters, Kathleen Rothschild and her husband David of Longmeadow, MA, and Diane Peters and her husband Russell of Brooksville, FL where she was living at the time of her passing, and daughter-in-law Kimberly Kamay; two sisters, Marianne Petronella of Enfield, and Patricia Filkowski of Agawam, MA; eight grandchildren, Benjamin Rothschild, Daniel Rothschild, Amy Ferrigno, Nicholas, Christopher and Jonathan Penna, Kaitlyn and Kyle Kamay, eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by stepmother Anna R. Bielonko; two brothers, John, and Edmund (her twin) Bielonko; and two sisters, Genevieve Sroka and Helen Wezowicz. She was also predeceased by her beloved son, Ronald Kamay.
The family would like to express their sincere and deep gratitude to the staff at HPH Hospice in Brooksville, FL, especially Eileen and Debra.
At Caroline's request, a graveside service will be celebrated at Saint Adalbert's Cemetary in Enfield on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the DogStarRescue.org.
