Charles Botti Obituary

Charles P. Botti, 90, the husband of the late Veronica (Bowes) Botti, died Saturday March 17, 2007, at his home.

Born in Hartford, he had lived in Manchester for many years. He retired from Nelson Freightliner as a truck driver.

He is survived by his children, Charlene Francoeur and her husband, Norman, of East Hartford, Anthony Botti and his wife, Cynthia, of Manchester, and Jerald Botti of Manchester; his grandchildren, Patrick Francoeur, Alicia Francoeur, Denise Botti, Alyson Botti and Nicholas Botti; his great-granddaughter, Liana Francoeur; his sister-in-law, Mimi Botti; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by his brothers, Louis Botti II and Emil Botti.

Charles' family would like to offer a special thanks to Vernon Hospice.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 21, 2007, at 10 a.m. at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St., Manchester, followed by burial in St. James Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice program for Visiting Nurses and Home Services, 8 Keynote Drive, Vernon, CT 06066.
