Constance Roden Obituary

Constance "Connie" May Roden of East Hartford peacefully passed away March 23, 2018.

She was born to the late Floyd and Evelyn Putnam in Houlton, Maine. Connie loved to be outside, vacationing in the White Mountains of New Hampshire with her family. She retired in 1997 from Finest Bakery in East Hartford where she worked for 17 years, establishing herself in the community and making many friends. As an avid dog lover, Connie loved to spoil her dog Maggie.

She will be missed by her son Rick and his wife, Monika Roden, of Charleston, South Carolina; her son, Russ Roden of Manchester; her granddaughter, Sandy Johnson of Fairfield, California; and numerous grand- and great-grandchildren. Connie was predeceased by her two brothers, Steve and Walter Putnam.

A private service will be held this summer at the Portland Head Lighthouse located in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.

In Connie's memory, a donation can be made to the COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd., Coral Gables, FL 33134
