David Blatter Obituary
David was born on Sept. 23, 1952, to Elizabeth W. (Janes) Blatter and Walter H. Blatter at Manchester Memorial Hospital. David leaves behind his lifelong partner Linda A. (Strait) Blatter; and their daughter, Madelyn (Blatter) Hopko, her fiancé, Ernest L. Jellinek; and his grandchildren Bradley, Christian and a new granddaughter Tessa. David also leaves behind three devoted sisters Elizabeth J. Voigts, Marion E. Gibson, and Deborah A. Goldstein. David will be missed deeply by his family and friends.
David kept many close friends from the Staffordville area and Rockville where he grew up. All will miss hearing him pull up in his 1970 MG-B sports car with a big smile on his face.
A very special thank you to the Hospice team for all their support and care.
His family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from noon to 1 p.m., at the Ladd & Carmon Funeral Home, 19 Ellington Ave., Rockville. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home at 1 p.m.

Saddened greatly to hear David's passing So many memories of him and Linda .1 of the 1st people we met when we came to Connecticut And it's been a life long friendship. So many good memories Of him on that triumph. We will miss him My condolences and prayers to the family .

Sadden to hear of David's passing. We grew up in Rockville and were friends forever. Years ago David came out to Nevada for a visit and to catch up. He was clever, savvy, and very intelligent. May He Rest in Peace.

It was always a fun time when Davy stopped by the lake house , sitting on the dock and we would hash out political issues and local gossip over huge Gin and tonics. I enjoyed hearing the MG roaring up the driveway and know a good conversation was to be had over coffee. I will miss him.
