David Hewitt Obituary

David C. Hewitt, 47, of Vernon, passed away Friday, Aug. 4, 2017.

David was born Feb. 20, 1970, in Rockville. He grew up in Tolland and lived in Florida before returning to Connecticut. He worked at Courtesy Auto in South Windsor.

He leaves behind his three sons, Cory Wheeler of Somers, and Zachary and Jordan Hewitt of Hudson, Florida; his father, Francis Hewitt of Vernon; and his mother, Gloria Glancey and her husband, Scott, of Broad Brook; his brothers, Michael Hewitt of Stafford Springs, Eric Hewitt and his fiancée, Kristie, of Enfield, and Todd Hewitt and his wife, Laura, of Canterbury; his sister, Diana DeJohn and her husband, Nick, of Woodstock; his nephews, Trevor Hewitt and Tucker Hewitt of Manchester, Anthony Hewitt of Stafford Springs, and Christopher Hewitt and Tommy Hewitt of Canterbury.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 18, at Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville.
