When i was young I always thought that David was more like an older brother than an Uncle. It was always a treat to be introduced as his niece and to introduce him as uncle. I loved watching people's responses. I think Dave did too. So happy that the fates allowed me to visit with him and Lynne earlier this year. There are many memories, like parents, I and my brother Elon going to our first football game to see David play. We had no idea how the game was played, sat in the opposing team's bleechers by mistake. And of course my father was yelling "Kill them" as Springfield was advancing. Still we had a great time. My mother Alice was so proud of David! We will never forget any of it! Love you. Rest in peace!

Dave´s work ethic, his love of family, and sense of humor will never be forgotten. He was a devoted zealous advocate and mentor. If you were boxed into a corner, you wanted Dave on your side. David earned the respect of his clients, peers, and employees who thought of him as family. He shared so many words of wisdom that will not be forgotten. He advocated aggressively yet always with respect towards others. Why are attorneys called "counselors"? If you knew Dave, you know the answer. After late dinner meetings (don´t forget Rein´s Deli full sour pickles!), on the way out the door, Dave would say "If Lynne calls tell her I left ten minutes ago!". My condolences go out to Lynne, Lauren, Jason and family. David committed so much to his professional life and family. Thank you for sharing him with us.
