Edna Gevry Obituary
Born in Lewiston, Maine, Oct. 10, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Edric and Elizabeth (Davis) Pettengill and had resided in East Windsor for many years. Edna was a woman with a wide range of interests. On one hand, she was an enthusiastic NASCAR fan, on the other she enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness of bird watching. She will be remembered as a Mom who loved her family and friends.
Loving memories are left in the hearts of all those she touched: her beloved husband, Paul J. Gevry; children, Frank Duchesneau of Barstow, Calif., Marie and Thomas Gist of Enfield, Thomas and Nichole Duchesneau of Manchester, and Mark Duchesneau of Hamden; four grandchildren, Ashley and Amber Gist, and Brielle and Austin Duchesneau of Austin, Texas; a sister, Ella Carter of Claremont, Calif.; a brother, Wally Pettengill of Turner, Maine; and many friends. She was predeceased by a grandson, Anthony Duchesneau.
Arrangements are private and have been entrusted to Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield.

I hope Edna is at peace now and her pain is gone. I am her twin sister and will miss her for the rest of my life. We lost touch for many years and never re-connected and that makes me so so sad. I loved her very much in spite of everything. Edna, I miss you

I didn't know you as well as I should have but I am glad I met you before you went to a better place. I'm glad I made you happy on my first visit with you and you enjoyed the flowers I gave you. Jezel, my granddaughter brought a smile to your face and it was great to see that!
