Elizabeth Shovak Obituary
Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Mae Sapsuzian, she was raised in Windsor Locks and also lived in Hartford, West Hartford, and Enfield before moving to Southwick in 2004. Elizabeth was an avid sports enthusiast, enjoying the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and the UConn Huskies. She was a collector of sheep figurines and was fond of country music and Christmastime.
She leaves three children, Gwen M. Kopf and her fiancé, David Falbo, of Granby, James J. Shovak and his spouse, Karen Shovak, of Southwick, and Daniel F. Shovak and his spouse, Matthew Pulie, of Franklin, Massachusetts; and five grandchildren, Jeffrey Shovak, Justin Shovak, Sabrina Kopf, Stephen Kopf, and James Shovak Jr.
The funeral will be Wednesday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m. at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 to 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Gwen, Sabrina, Stephen and David...your Mom was always so pleasant and very sweet..every time I saw her. Always a nice big welcoming smile to greet everyone with..You were very blessed to have her. I'm sure Marion will be there to welcome her home. Love and prayers to you and your family. Valerie
