One of Heather's passions was genealogy according to her life's story. I've known of my 2nd cousin for quite a while through my own genealogy research but never met her. She even went to school here in Chicopee where I live. Sadly, I just learned of her death which is now almost a year ago. My heart goes out to her parents, Jeanne and John, and brother, Ian. I can't begin to understand the feeling of losing a daughter, son or other family member so close and so young. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family on the anniversary of your loss.

Jeanne & Ian,
How shocked and saddened I was to hear about Heather! I was proud to read about all of the accomplishments of my student in a life taken way too young. I can only imagine how you must feel. I will always remember my eager, smiling kindergartner and her terrific mom and brother.
