Jacqueline Aliczi Obituary

Jacqueline M. "Jackie" (Dewart) Aliczi, 75, of Manchester, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2007, at her home after an extended illness.

Born in Manchester Feb. 9, 1932, daughter of the late John and Merle (Yellen) Dewart, she was a lifelong resident and graduated from Manchester High School with the Class of 1950. Jackie did bookkeeping and accounting for her former husband, the late Russell Aliczi,

the Manchester Scholarship Foundation, the D.W. Fish real estate company, and was a commercial real estate agent.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Kimberly Aliczi of Vernon; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Delci, and Igor Aliczi; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Sandy Dewart of Homasassa, Fla.; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 6, 10:30 a.m., at the Trinity Covenant Church, 302 Hackmatack St., Manchester.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, June 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester.

Memorial contributions may be made to the John DeQuattro Community Cancer Center (ECHN), 71A Haynes St., Manchester, CT 06040.
