FUNERAL HOME

James Polowitzer Obituary

It is with great sadness and a heart shattered into a million pieces that my son James "Jimmy" Polowitzer has left this world today, March 7, 2018.

He was born on Oct. 18, 1976, in Hartford, the son of Claire-Louise (Deshaies) and the late Robert Polowitzer, Jr. He was raised in Southington and later moved to Enfield where he lived for 30 years. He worked as a warehouse technician for Dollar Tree for three years. Jimmy enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his friends and family, especially his nieces whom he found amusement in annoying.

Jimmy leaves behind to walk in his footsteps his stepfather, Martin Cerrigione of Enfield; his siblings, Michelle Lago of Broad Brook, Andrew and his wife, Krissy Polowitzer of Enfield, Nate Cerrigione of Glastonbury; his best friend and brother forever Phil Curtis and his wife, Jada of Enfield; his nieces and nephews, Jessica, Jennifer, Liam, Derek, Jenna, Seth and Chase; his grandparents, Carolyn Whaley of East Hartford, and James and Karin Cerrigione of Enfield; his godfather Edward Polowitzer; and his many aunts and uncles. Jimmy was predeceased by his father, Robert Polowitzer Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation hours on Sunday, March 11, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Donations in memory of Jimmy may be made to an organization of the donor's choice.

He was the most kind, generous, unselfish, and loving person that I was blessed to call my son. There was nothing that he would not do for anyone. The world is a little less bright today... I will miss you every day for the rest of my life. Love you to the moon and back. Love Mom.

I am so sorry you have lost your son. It's every mother's worst nightmare. I know words bring little comfort at a time like this. May God bring you comfort. Peace be with you.
