Kenneth Davis Obituary

Kenneth William Davis
July 16, 1956 - November 19, 2024
Kenneth was born in Rockville, Connecticut on 7/16/1956, son of Joyce Peck Davis and William (Spud) Davis. He left us on November 19, 2024, with his brother, Brian, and his hospice nurse at his bedside. His courageous battle with pancreatic cancer was lightened by his love for and from dear family and friends.
He spent his first 10 years growing up in Rockville, CT and the rest of his adult life in the Palm Beach, Florida area. After completion of his education at the Connecticut School of Fine Arts, studying Interior Design, and South Florida School of Floral Design, he became a respected and sought after Floral Designer in the Palm Beach area. He had decorated Donald Trump's residence in Palm Beach on numerous occasions and flown to Newport, RI and Saratoga, NY, once to create the floral decorating for a female jockey's wedding. His greatest pleasure was making the flower arrangements for his family and friends weddings in Maine and Florida.
His welcoming smile, wit, love, and caring for everyone he met will never be forgotten. He leaves behind his sister, Susan Cambell (Joe), brother, Alan, both of Florida, brother, Brian (Mary) in Coventry, CT, niece, Carleigh Davis (Harrison) and nephew, Reid Davis (Shirley). He was deeply loved by his special cousins, Sherry DiSarro (Jim), Melody Faux (George), Lisa Duran (Brian), his Aunt Ginny Peck and late Uncle Malcolm. He never felt alone during his illness because of the devotion and gracious friendship of life long friends, Greg Petrirena and Christopher Pope. Deep gratitude goes out to them, the staff at West Delray Nursing Center, Delray Medical Center and Trust Bridge Hospice. Burial of his cremains and memorial services will be held at a later date in both Connecticut and Maine.
"Still - in a way - nobody sees a flower - really - it is so small - we haven't time - and to see takes time, like to have a friend takes time" - Georgia O'Keeffe.
