Kenny was one of the good guys I was honored to work with at the old Troop C. He also was one of my neighbors during my adolescent years. I always remember him being very active. We would often pass each other in the neighborhood; he jogging while I was riding my horse. Kenny was an officer and a gentleman. A diligent investigator who also had a fine sense of humor.
May you rest in peace #394.

Deb, I left a note on your facebook as well as a friend request. I don't know why but just tonite I decided to look and see if I could find you on facebook. How saddened was I when I figured out that Kenny was no longer with us. My thoughts and prayers are with you my friend. I will always remember the times when Ken and Eric went golfing together down in Southwest Harbor. Such an unlikely pair! Memories are wonderful and cannot be taken away. We all must treasure them!!

I am deeply sorry to learn of Ken's passing.
We had lost touch over our later years, but will always remember him for his great sense of humor, his candor, and his zest for life...
We had many fun experiences in our younger years at McDonalds and after his marriage to Debbie...
My last memory of Ken was watching him zip off with my wife on the back of his motorbike, as he took her on a ride up to Cadillac Mtn.
I would never have trusted anyone but Ken to send her off safely... such a fun time!
Our hearts go out to Debbie and Michael for their loss, but Ken will be waiting for all of us with that wonderful smile, when we join him!

My condolences to the Hardick family. I will always remember the times we spent down the street at the hobby shop. Ken would take my brother and I down the street to watch the airplanes take off. Sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry to hear about Ken's passing. As everyone else has said he was one of the "good ones". Although it's been many years since I worked at McDonald's with Ken and you Deb, I remember his good nature and great physical ability. He was so kind to come to our mother's wake but as Dennis said "I recognized him right away by his eyes". May he rest in peace and my sincere sympathy to you and your family.

My deepest sympathy to the Hardick family. I first met Ken in 1978 and he was "the best of the best" in my book. I worked with Ken for several years and always known him to be a "happy go lucky guy!" I guess Our Lord needed a good man in heaven because that's where Ken is now. God bless you always Ken, and "thanks for the memories!" Tony Ostrowski

The battle was long and hard and you fought it like the real "trooper" you were. Will miss so much ...sense of humor, checking in to always help me out, just knowing you were next door to "serve and protect". Thanks for the memories.

Our sincerest condolences to Debra and Michael.
Ken always will have a special place in our hearts for one event - finding our young son (also Kenneth!!) after he wandered off from the Center School playground. His calm demeanor helped us greatly for the hour or so that our son was missing.
