Lillian Bouthiette Obituary

Lillian M. (Klezos) Bouthiette, 76, of Enfield, beloved wife of 55 years to Leonard Bouthiette, entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Johnson Memorial Hospital.

Born in Hartford on July 12, 1944, she was the daughter of George Klezos, Jr. and Adele (Domanowski) Klezos. In her early career, Lil owned and operated her own hair salon, Mademoiselle Coiffeurs in Enfield. She later worked at American Honda until her retirement. Lil enjoyed gardening, shopping, and trips to the beach with her family. Her most cherished moments were times spent with her family and attending the many sporting events for her grandchildren.

In addition to her beloved husband Leonard, she leaves her brother George Klezos III and his wife, Christa Klezos of Londonderry, Vermont. Lil is also survived by her daughters, Sheree Pasini and her husband, Christopher of Enfield, Michelle Scanlon and her husband, Gregory of Sturbridge, Massachusetts, and Darcie Wishart and her husband, Jason of Enfield; her grandchildren, Joshua, Christian, Samuel, Maxwell, Colby, Alexa, Gabrielle, Tyler, and Addison; her special niece, Kimberly Zanks of Hampden, Massachusetts; and her aunt Wanda Kousch of Westfield, Massachusetts. She was predeceased by her sister, Irene Zanks.

Lil had such a love for life, always making the best of everything and being able to cheer up anyone through laughter. From her long shopping trips to her fun in the sun vacations she was always having fun. Lil was incredibly thoughtful to everyone, always offering something that she thought could make their day a little brighter. She was a strong woman who fought hard and beat lung cancer twice before until she ultimately lost her year-long battle to lung cancer yet again.

Lil's family will receive relatives and friends from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield. A procession will follow for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. at St. Bernard Church, 426 Hazard Ave., Enfield. Burial will follow in Hazardville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lil's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to ASPCA, ASPCA Gift Processing Center, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20077-7127.
