Lucretia Rose Obituary
November 22, 1937 - June 25, 2023
Lucretia (Graham) Rose, 85, of South Windsor, loving wife of Jon "Jack" Rose, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Hartford Hospital. Lucretia was born on November 22, 1937, in Hartford, one of two beloved children of the late John W. Graham and Ruth Lucretia Stoddard. She was a graduate of Ellsworth High School and had lived in South Windsor for her entire life. Lucretia worked as an administrative assistant in several local realtors until she retired in 2003. She touched everyone's life with her kind heart, generosity and unconditional love for her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Lucretia leaves behind her husband Jon "Jack" Rose, her son, James E. Rose, her two daughters, Lynn R. Greer and her husband Kevin, Ruth R. Lariviere and her husband Chris. She also leaves behind six grandchildren. Jaime Coker and her husband Ray, Jonathan Rose, Megan Greer and her fiancé Jim Boyle, Matthew Greer, Cassidy Lariviere and Riley Lariviere. She also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Ezra Coker, Nerayah Coker and one on the way in late September. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John (Jackie) Graham.
A memorial service will be held at Wapping Community Church, 1790 Ellington Rd., South Windsor, CT on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
