Maurice "Maury" M. Frye, 93, of Bolton, born in Danville, PA, November 17, 1931, to parents, William B. Frye Sr. and Vera Bergenstock Frye. He was predeceased by brothers, William B. Frye Jr. and Robert J. Frye. Maury is survived by his son, Douglas D. Frye and his wife Laurie of Southington, CT, his daughter, Nicole Frye and her husband, Brandon Bucci Sr. of Schwenksville, PA, his four grandsons, Travis Schwabe and spouse, Roxanne, Dawson Schwabe and spouse, Marissa, Brandon Bucci Jr., and Daniel Bucci and the love of his life, Patricia Purdy of Bolton, CT.
Maury graduated from Danville High School and Penn State. He served in Korea with the 176th Armored of the PA National Guard 1951 – 1952, after graduating from Penn State with Marine Fighter Squadron VMF 218. Maury was a 32 Degree Mason and a past member of Uriel Lodge No. 24, A.F. & A.M. Merrow, CT, Sphinx Shrine, Newington, CT, Scottish Rite, Valley of Hartford, American Legion Post 14, Rockville, CT, VFW Post 2046, Manchester, CT and Trinity Lutheran Church, Vernon, CT.
Maury spent many years in Sales, Sales Engineering, and Sales Management with several Pump and Compressor Manufacturers and, recently, as Purchasing Agent for Transfer Enterprises, Manchester, CT and Sales at NES Steel, Tolland, CT. Maury's favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing the Race on Long Island Sound with his fishing buddy, Tom McKinney of Vernon.
At the request of his family, a private burial with Military Honors will be held. There are no calling hours.
