Paul Nadeau Obituary

Paul R. Nadeau, 62, died peacefully on April 1, 2010, at CJW Medical Center, Richmond, Va., after a brave fight against leukemia.

He was born in Hartford, the eldest son of Conrad and Pauline Nadeau. Paul was employed by Evergreen Packaging Inc. and was an active, devoted warrant officer in the Virginia Defense Force. He spent most of his years as a resident of East Windsor, settling in Richmond in 1997.

He is survived by his wife, Lois; mother, Pauline; brother, Mark; sisters, Mary Jane Laws and Elaine Burgess; son, Doug; daughter, Jennifer; stepsons, Ken and Kevin Fisher; grandchildren, Doug, Rebecca, Lauren, and Zachary, Kyle and Kate Tuchay, and Andrew Fisher. He was predeceased by his father, Conrad, and brother, Andrew Richard.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 17, 2010, at St. Catherine Church, Broad Brook, at 11 a.m.

Condolances from your cousin Joey & wife Joanne (JoJo) of Enfield this includes Aunt Rita in Broad Brook. When we got married back in 2001, Paul mentioned that the Nadeaus should have a reunion every five years because we only see each other at weddings or, funerals. I suspect that he was ill back then and had known something.
I also made this obituary know to all the relatives with e-mail with hopes they send condolances too!

I knew Paul (CW2(VA) as the mainstay of the Mess Hall at the Virginia Defense Force Division Headquarters, Richmond, VA. He was a fine man and it was a real privledge to have known and serve with him. My prayers are with your family.
