Richard Jordan
Richard E. Jordan, Sr., 84, of Tolland, CT, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Complete Care at Fox Hill. He was born in Stafford, CT, son of the late Edwin and Violet (Fontanella) Jordan. Richard served our country for over 20 years in the United States Navy as a Torpedoman's Mate.
He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa (Coutinho) Jordan; two sons, Richard E. Jordan, Jr. and his wife Sherry, and Lee Jordan; four grandchildren, Jarred, Joshua, Angela and Ian Jordan; four great-grandchildren, Lexcey, Jaiden, Jaemasin and Giovanni Jordan; sister, Joyce Jordan and her partner David Conant; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Russell Jordan.
Burial with military honors at St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be private. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., Stafford Springs, CT, has care of the arrangements.
