Stephen Holloway Obituary
Born July 22, 1948, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Stephen S. and Mary (Griffin) Holloway. Stephen attended Sacred Heart School in Holyoke, Holyoke High School, and went on to earn his degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. He was the owner of Country Drug Pharmacy in Enfield and later worked as a pharmacist for Walgreens in Enfield. Stephen loved Irish music, golf, fishing, and time spent in Maine with family and friends.
Besides his wife Joan, Stephen is survived by his children, Matthew Fontaine and wife, Sarah, of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Andrea Howarth and husband, Adam, of Enfield, Courtney Holloway and fiancé, Josh Henry, of Dedham, Massachusetts, and Ryan Holloway and wife, Anne, of Havelock, North Carolina; his grandchildren, Conor Howarth, Michaela Howarth, Joseph Fontaine, Grace Fontaine, and Stephen Holloway. He also leaves his sister, Judith Horn and husband, Nelson, of Palm Desert, California; sister-in-law, Nancy Wagner; and brother-in law, Michael Sullivan and wife, Patricia, all of Holyoke; along with many nieces and nephews, including nephew, Ethan Horn of Ladera Ranch, California. Stephen was predeceased by his niece, Meredith Horn.
Relatives and friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, CT 06082.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, with a funeral procession forming at the funeral home to St. Patrick Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations in Stephen's name may be made to Baystate Vascular Medicine and Surgery Research Fund, 280 Chestnut St., Springfield, MA 01199.

Stephen, we will miss seeing you on M6. Through it all, you were the best patient, always so nice to everyone, even when you were suffering. We grew to love you and your family. To Joan, so sad and sorry for your loss. For his children and grandchildren, know that he spoke fondly of you all the time, oh the stories! My deepest sympathies to you and your family.
