Susan Campbell Obituary

Susan Campbell
06/17/2025
Susan (Susie) Elizabeth Campbell (nee, Mancuso), 40 years old, of South Windsor, CT, peacefully passed away in her sleep on June 17, 2025.
Susie was born on June 7, 1985, in Berwyn, IL, and was adopted on August 2, 1985, by Diane and Ronald Mancuso of West Hartford, CT. She graduated from Hall High School in West Hartford in 2003 and from Central Connecticut State University, graduating with a BA degree in 2009. Thereafter, Susie continued her education, earning a BSN and a MSN from MA College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
Susie was passionate about helping people and took a keen interest in the level and quality of care she provided to each of her patients. Her fields of practice included hospital nursing, home health care, primary care, geriatrics, and cardiology. Susie's love and passion for people extended far beyond her professional life. She leaves a lasting impact on the lives of friends, family, colleagues, and all those with whom she came into contact. She was adored by her children and was always willing to drop everything to be at a friend's side at a time of need.
Susie is survived by her former husband and father of their children, Justin Campbell; her two children, Mackenzie – 10 and Gavin – 5; her parents, Diane and Ronald Mancuso; her brother, David Mancuso, his wife, Amanda, and their children, Curtis, Lilaina, and Myla; and her devoted companion, Gary Whalen.
Services will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 872 Farmington Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06119 on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, with a visitation at 10:00 a.m. and a Mass at 11:00 a.m. For those who cannot attend the funeral, a live stream will be available at the St. Thomas the Apostle website. Flowers can be sent to Molloy Funeral Home, 906 Farmington Ave, West Hartford, CT 06119. In lieu of flowers, the family is establishing a fund for Susie's children.
