Sylvia Stanio
Sylvia Stanio, of Enfield passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. She was born on September 13, 1938, in New Haven, CT. She was the daughter of Maurice Lawrence Benatti and Amelia Louise (Boracco) Benatti. She is survived by her loving husband Raymond of 64 years, her six children and her brother, Ronald (Mary) Benatti of Colchester, CT. Her children are Susan Stanio, Sharon (Neal) Jutras, Raymond Stanio, Jr. and Sandra (Brian) Towle and Richard Stanio and Kathleen (Mark) Notis.
Sylvia and Ray have fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Sylvia was a remarkable woman, a devoted wife and mother, who always put her family and children first. She will be forever in our hearts.
Relatives and friends may join the family on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, September 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Rd., Enfield. Burial will follow at St. Patrick King Street Cemetery.
