Thien Dang Obituary

Thien Dang, 86, of Vernon, a wonderful, generous, and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and beloved wife of the late Mr. Phan Dang, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 12, at Rockville General Hospital while surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Dang was born on February 10, 1922 in Vietnam and she lived in the Vernon area for more than thirty years. She was a communicant of St. Bernard's Church.

She leaves behind her sister that she adored; her five loving children; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two nieces; two nephews.

The Dang family would like to thank the staff at Vernon Manor for the exceptional care they gave Mrs. Dang on a daily basis, the doctors, nurses and staff at Rockville General Hospital, and Hospice Unit and the staff at the Vernon Dialysis Unit.

There are no calling hours.

Funeral services will be private.

The family respectfully asks that you celebrate her life and her new journey.

The Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St., Rockville has charge of arrangements.

I know how difficult it is to lose a mother. She was a good, kind and caring person, and I know you'll have many good memories to carry with you. You've been in my thoughts and prayers.
