Walter Zbikowski Obituary
He was born in Springfield, son of the late Walter and Lorraine (Perreault) Zbikowski. He graduated from AI Prince Technical School. He owned and operated Walt's Plumbing & Heating for many years.
He is survived by his devoted life partner of 16 years, Donna Sullivan; his sons, James (Deena) of Enfield, and Daniel (Jane) and their children, Matthew and Kathryn of Enfield; his brother, John (Julie) of Reidsville, North Carolina; his sisters, Dorothy (Jake) Liptak of Spring Hill, Florida and Susan (Dewayne) Raynor of Agawam, Massachusetts; several nieces and nephews; Donna's children, Steven, Angelina and Jeffrey; and his former wife, Dorothy Smith. He was predeceased by his wife, Judy Zbikowski; and his niece, Lori Gestring.
Walt enjoyed life to the fullest and was the ultimate jokester. He loved traveling with Donna, they made many wonderful memories together.
Special thanks to the staff at Parkway, especially his wonderful nurse, Becky, for providing outstanding care over the last eight years.
Funeral services will be private. Friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of life on Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, at the Knights of Columbus (downstairs), 236 Main St., Somers, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Donations in Walt's memory may be made to: Parkway Pavilion Recreational Fund, 1157 Enfield, St., Enfield, CT 06082.

Walter was my mother Donna Sullivans life partner of 16 years. What I love most about Walter was his big heart, attentiveness and dedication to my mother. They had a strong love for each other and we're extremely devoted to one another. You never saw one without the other they always had the best of times whether it be at home, out to dinner or on one of their great vacations. Walter was also good to myself and my two brothers. He was very funny, witty and just filled with life. Walter you will be missed and never forgotten. Thank you for all the great years you gave to our mother, we couldn't have asked for a better man to be in her life. One day we will all meet again. RIP

I have known Walt my whole life and I have always called him puddle. He has been like another grandfather in my life and i´m thankful for all the memories and traveling we have done together. I will cherish those memories forever and always remember puddle as a happy, caring, kind and always looking to make someone laugh. He was amazing and will be missed so much.

We had fun times before he went to nursing home we had card games an enjoyed Walt´s company he was a very caring man.
