William Pramberger Obituary

William J. "Mr. P" Pramberger, 61, of Village Hill Road, Willington, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010, at Hartford Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in the Bronx, N.Y., son of Patricia (Connors) Pramberger and the late William J. Pramberger. He attended St. Simon Stock School and also graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University. Bill worked as an actuary for many years at Travelers, and currently was employed at Advanced Adhesives. He was a devout Catholic and member of St. Edward Parish, and coached Little League for many years in Willington.

A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Bill is survived by his fabulous wife, Carol L. (Crane) Pramberger of Willington; three sons, Derek Pramberger and his wife, Kelly, of Vernon, Heath Pramberger and his wife, Mary, of Glastonbury, and Brent Pramberger and his wife, Linda, of East Haddam; four grandchildren, Sade, Vanessa, Quinn, and William Luis; his mother, Patricia Pramberger of New York; a brother, Ronnie Pramberger of Virginia; a sister, Patricia Breicha and her husband, Michael of California; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 12, 2010, at 10 a.m. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs. Burial will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington.

Calling hours are Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Introvigne Funeral Home Inc., 51 E. Main St., Stafford Springs.

Memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse and Health Services of Connecticut, 8 Keynote Drive, Vernon, CT 06066, or to Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center, 80 Seymour St., Hartford, CT 06102.
