As a fellow nurse, I gave report to oncoming Anita, RN many times. She heard and worked amongst grumbling nurses and residents, but never once did I hear a negative word uttered from Anita. She was understanding, and determined to give the best care to all residents and staff. I left the nursing home in Freeport to be DON of a nursing home in Rockford. Anita came and worked at that nursing home with me. She never missed work. She buried a parent and sibling and only took 3 days off. She came in extra when asked. Always pleasant always kind..!! A sweet spirit that will be missed.
