Lorna always sent a card and lovely letter when I lost my parents. I just saw her in June when she stopped by at my Brother's memorial service. We go way back to 4-H and Freeport High School. After reading all the beautiful messages from all the other that have posted we realize she was truly God's angel here on earth. My prayers and thoughts are with all of her family.

To Randall & Family: So sorry to hear of Lorna's passing. It was such a shock to hear that. I really enjoyed talking to her which she always had time to do & she always asked about our son & always had a smile even if she wasn't having a good day. She called me several times & thanked me just being friends with your family. She even sang a song to me that I will save on my phone forever. She was a SUPER women that will be missed by ALL who knew her. If there is anything you need don't be afraid to ask, that's what friends are for. I just can't say enough. You are all in our thoughts & Prayers.

Dear family,
Sending our sincere sympathy to all of you. We received a note or 2 from Lorna noticing what our family was up to. Such a sweet, sincere faith and encouragement came naturally to her. Heaven is rejoicing, and her Christian journey is complete. We will remember her example and always think of her smile. We are out of town, but we are thinking of you and including you in our prayers.

While my Alfred was in Kindred Hospital I always had a word of prayer and a song on the answering machine when I came home and even after his passing. It was a blessing for me and I know she did the same for many more.

Remembering the times when Lorna and I met in the parking lot behind the school to pick up our grandchildren from pre-school. We joined hands in prayer and she would sing a hymn for my son as he started his battle with cancer. Another angel gone too soon.

Oh I'm so sad at the loss on this earth of dear Lorna. But what rejoicing in Heaven! I know KELLI was there to greet Lorna and many many many others who she ministered to in song in their time of need. She was such a blessing to us and KELLI.
I write to Morgan Hake was well and he shared that Lorna wrote to him. He said they had talked about KELLI and he loved the letters from Lorna.
Anita and Amy I did not realize that Lorna was your Mom until I read it. My deepest sympathy to all of you. Your Mom is singing with the Angels tonight!
In Christ, Ruth Rummel. KELLI Huneke's. Mom
