Sherry Jones Obituary
Gorden, GA- Sherry Parks Jones or more favorably known as, "SUNSHINE", 57, passed away February 28th at Emory University Hospital while continuing a battle against heart disease. Memorial Services will be conducted Monday, March 3, 2014 at 6PM in Williams Funeral Home Chapel of Milledgeville with Rev. Ralph Story officiating. Interment will be private. The family will be at the funeral home Monday evening from 5PM until the service hour to receive friends.
Mrs. Jones was the daughter of Mildred Bass Parks and the late William Carr Parks. Sunshine was born on July 3, 1956 in Reynolds, Georgia, attended Taylor County High School and received a degree in nursing from the former Georgia College in Milledgeville. She served the communities of Eatonton and Sparta for many years as a Registered Nurse. Sunshine was an avid Atlanta Braves and Nascar fan.
She is survived by her husband, Lewis Randall "Randy" Jones, son Carr Chester Jones of Mooresville, NC, mother Mildred Bass Parks, siblings Wayne (Johnnie) Parks, Linda (Jack) Grant, Corine (Gary) Hobbs, JoAnn (Tom) Kasel, May (Nicolas) Morga, brother-in-law Ken (Donna) Jones, 11 nieces and nephews and 22 great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Parkway Suite #1, Marietta, GA 30067.

I'm heart broken to hear about dear Sherry. She was a lovely soul. We were both Beatle fans. She taught me to drive in the corn field by her house in Reynolds..I steered and she worked the pedals! Crazy, fun and now I offer up prayers to her and her family. I'm so sorry for your loss. She was PURE SUNSHINE! Heaven is a better place with her in it!
