Terry Grabow Obituary

Terry Grabow 1970—2016
Terry L. Grabow, 45, of Dubuque, IA., and formerly of Shannon, IL, passes away suddenly at his home March 6, 2016. He was born April 22, 1970 in Freeport, IL. Terry was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Desert Storm; he was stationed between Egypt and Israel for two years. He worked construction for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, chess, woodworking and spending time with his family and friends; he was well known for his drawings. Terry is survived by his father James (Nancy) Grabow of Shannon, IL, his mother Sue (Franc) Bastendorff of Dixon, IL, his siblings Naomi Schaney of Freeport, IL, Marcie (David) Blevins of Lanark, IL, Heidi (Jon) Miller of Forreston, IL, Shawn (Marilag) Wilson of Boynton Beach, FL, Rob Wilson of Dixon, IL, Haley Wilson of Shannon, IL, Derek (Kayla) Bastendorff of Lena, IL, and Angela (Roy) Conkle of Rockford, IL; also many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m., Wednesday. March 16, 2016 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport with Rev. Glenn Scott officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial of remains will be in Freeport City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory.
