Family members include her daughter Sandra (Dennis) Chmelka, Wahoo; grandchildren Michael (Crystal), John, Carol and James; great-grandchildren Destiny, Cade, Kendra, and James Michael; stepson Joe Bennett, Lincoln; stepdaughter Tina (Bryan) Schwahn, Omaha; step grandchildren Rene, Candy, Angela, Kristy, Stephanie, Samantha, Paige, and Nevaeh; 2 step great-grandchildren; sister Alice Clough, Omaha. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Burdette, son Donald Rogers, sister Gladys Remmereid, and brothers Warren and Richard Johnson.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Monday (5-2-22) Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 'O' Street. Burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation with family present from 4-6 p.m. Sunday (5-1-22) Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel. Memorials to St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 8550 Pioneers Blvd. Lincoln, NE 68520.
