So when the still air fills
With strong sounds of the past
I am not surprised when I feel
The strum of old chords and my
Heart skips back in time
For the only way
We can live and love in the present
Is to be free enough to
Reach back and touch the past
Your memories are forever mine, children,
I Love You.

This is some thing my sister "Bobbie Lynn" wrote and kept with the only pictures she had of her children. I think you can tell she truly loved them.
There are pictures of my children
Tucked away in a hand made leather box
In it they are young
And I am ~
Well, I am their mother
They are only snapshots
Not those studio glamour shots
But I prize these photos above all others
Because they are so young
And we were together
I think back to the days when
I would sit and cradle them on my lap
As they would recover from
too much or too little childhood
I weep each time I look
At us enfolded forever
As all about us
Life continues to unfold
Sweet little pictures...
They touch me like magic
Just as photographs
Those times too precious to forget
