Cathy A. Roach

Cathy A. Roach, a resident and dedicated community volunteer passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 72. She grew up in Lincoln, NE before moving to Texas as an adult.

Cathy retired from Advance Mirco Devices as the Executive Assistant to Corporate VP but that did not stop her from giving her time to her passion of helping others. She volunteered at the Central Texas Food Bank and was acknowledged for her diligence and dedication in the Austin Business Jornal. Once in retirement she moved her volunteerism closer to home with the Caldwell County Food Pantry. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading.

Cathy is preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Love of Lincoln, NE; her spouse of 18 years Douglass Rikardsen; her daughter Stacy Jester of Austin, TX; one grandchild Caden Jester; her brother David Love and 2 sisters of Lincoln, NE and her sister Susann Edwards of FL.

To honor her wishes, Cathy will be cremated and a memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 2-6pm at their home. Please consider making a contribution to or volunteering in Cathy's honor at your local food bank.
