Glenn Roach Obituary

Glenn passed away on January 11, 2026 in Bedford, Texas after a short but valiant battle with cancer.

Glenn was born in San Angelo, Texas on September 28, 1948.



He graduated from Robert Lee High School in 1967 where he lettered in football and baseball. He graduated from Angelo State University and began his career in grocery store management. Later, Glenn received his Master's degree from West Texas State in Canyon.



After moving to Florida, Glenn began working for the State as an auditor while also moonlighting on the family's greyhound farm. He proudly retired as a Senior Revenue Consultant for the Department of Revenue after 25 years.



Glenn moved back to Texas and happily spent the past 10 years in Bedford before his passing.

He was preceded in death by his parents Chris and Bill Tom Roach, nephew Kirk Bagwell, and his beloved dog Ginger.



He is survived by his loving family: Jan Roach his wife of 50 years, daughters Stacey Hunt, (Wes) of Bedford, and Katie Roach of Greenville, Florida , sons Tom Roach, (Tiffany) of Robert Lee and Joe Roach of Glen Rose,. Grandchildren Hope Hyytiainen, Kimberly Booth, Karlee McCabe, Kortney Roach, Austin Roach, and Dallas Roach. One sister Cristie Bagwell (Mike) niece Tiffany Youndblood and one brother Bill Roach (Brenda) nephews Gabe and Glen Roach and many friends in Florida and Texas.



Graveside services will be at 1pm March 7 at the Robert Lee Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be at the YMCA Community Room, (2801 Forrest Ridge Bedford Texas) from 2 to 4 on March 21.

In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to a charity of your choice in his honor.
