Sasha Kaplan

Sasha Kaplan, (the former Peggy Jo Jones), died Sunday, March 1, 2026. She was born in Altus, Oklahoma to Buford and Leeona Jones. She graduated from Amarillo High School and West Texas State University. She also graduated from North Texas State University with a degree in the fine arts. She served as a manager of an art gallery, owned her own interior design service, and operated an antique furniture shop. She participated in the Dallas film industry and appeared in several movies and television series which were filmed in Dallas. She is survived by her husband, Henry Kaplan, who she married in 1969. She is remembered for her faithfulness and devotion, her sense of humor, her impeccable good taste, and most of all, her great home. She was a master cook and if you never tasted her cheese enchiladas, you really missed a treat of a life time. The family has planned a private service.
