Ryan Allen West of Allen, Texas left this world on February 28, 2026 at the age of 50. He was born on November 29, 1975 to Allen Dee West and Pamela Theresa (Crank) West in McKinney, Texas.

Ryan married the love of his life, Ashley Monique Richardson, on October 27, 2019, in McKinney. Together, they shared a beautiful life filled with love and countless cherished memories. He worked as an electrical designer with Vector Systems, Inc. for 17 years.

A true "nerd enthusiast," Ryan had a profound love for "Star Wars," and his playful spirit shone in his hobbies. Whether he was tinkering away in his workshop, nurturing his garden, or enjoying the company of his beloved dogs and cats, Ryan embraced life with open arms. He found joy in gathering friends and family for barbecues, creating moments that will be forever cherished in their hearts. Ryan had a hilarious sense of humor and always made Ashley laugh, brightening her day and bringing joy to those around him.

Ryan was also a spiritual individual, finding peace and meaning in life's experiences. He will be remembered for his kind heart, his warmth, and the love he so freely gave to those around him. Ryan will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.

Ryan, your light will forever shine in our hearts. Thank you for the memories, the love, the laughter, and the joy. You will always be with us.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ashley West of Allen, Texas; daughters, Evelyn West, Danielle Bellar and husband, Adam, and Brooke Richardson and husband, Tony; grandson, Braxton Richardson; mother, Pamela Dugger; sister, Felicia West Caraway; and numerous other loving family members and cherished friends.

Ryan was preceded in death by his father, Allen D. West; stepfather, Richard Dugger; grandparents, Bill and Hester Crank and grandparents; Calvin and Dorothy West.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 6, 2026 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
