Debra A. Buel, 66, Weeping Water passed away on September 18, 2024, in Lincoln, NE. with family at her side. Born on March 27, 1958, in Lincoln, NE to Allen and Carol (Blessing) Ehlers Jr. Debbie owned and operated two tanning salons in Lincoln. She loved doing arts and crafts, making jewelry and cards, just to name a few.
Survived by her father Allen Ehlers, sister Teresa Campbell, brother-in-law Larry Scott, daughter Shannon (Nick) Gaebel, son Scott (Cami) Buel, grandchildren Kane Gaebel, Jax and Cole Buel, nephew Cory (Taira) Campbell, great nephews Leeum and Maddox Campbell and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by mother, Carol Ehlers, sister, Brenda Scott, grandparents and fiancé, David Sims.
Visitation will be 1-3 PM Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Hammons Family Funeral Chapel, 207 West H St. Weeping Water, NE.
Funeral services 2:00 pm Monday, 9/24/2024 at United Methodist Church in Weeping Water, NE. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. Refreshments following graveside.
