I was saddened to hear of Mrs. Martin's death this morning. She was an inspiration to many students at Pawnee City High School. She taught me so many things in my high school speech career which I've since applied to my personal and professional career as an adult. My deepest sympathies to you. Please know what a special lady Mrs. Martin was and how she positively impacted so many people's lives!

As a student of Mrs. Martin's in the late seventies, I learned to love English and Art because of her unique direction and her own individiual love of teaching. There are few teachers that truly made an impact on my life and Mrs. Elizabeth Martin was one of those special teachers. What a lovely lady! I'm am very sorry for your loss.
