Elwood Lostroh Obituary

Elwood L. Lostroh 88, longtime resident of Cheyenne County, Neb., passed away Thursday (5/29/08) at the Memorial Health Center Extended Care in Sidney, following a long struggle with Parkinson's disease.
He is survived by his wife, Elva Davison Lostroh, Sidney; daughter, Dixie Wulf and husband, Brian, Lincoln; stepsons, Lynn Davison and wife, Marilyn, Tucson, Ariz.; and Del Davison and wife, Terry, San Antonio, Texas; step-grandchildren, Stacie Hernandez, Geri Baca and David Davison; step-great-granddaughter, Kaylah Baca; and many good friends. Elwood was preceded in death by his first wife, Arline (Elsasser) Lostroh in 1990.
Funeral Services 2:30 p.m. Wednesday (6/4/08) at the First United Methodist Church in Sidney with Rev. Dr. Charles Alkula officiating. Military Graveside services will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may stop at the Gehrig-Stitt Chapel on Tuesday (6/3/08) from 1-6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elwood Lostroh Memorial, P.O. Box 162, Sidney, NE 69162. Gehrig-Stitt Chapel & Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements.

We are so sorry for your loss. Elwood was a very dear man. I always enjoyed when he would come into my office for his Adopt-A-Hwy. supplies always so sweet and kind. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you.
