Gene was like family to me. He was always there for me everyday when I needed him. Always ready to work and with a smile on his face. Many of the people he met while running errands for me started to call him "Not so mean Gene" because of his smile and attitude during work and on life. He was very proud of who he was and proud of his family. He would always show me the newest picture of Trip and tell me stories of dog sitting also. Gene wasn't just a man I called to come in and work, He was family but most of all a best friend. I will miss you always Gene, but you will never be forgotten. Love you.

I had the pleasure to work with Gene as he brought vehicles into the DMV
for title inspections, he would always come in with a smile on his face
and sometimes a great story. He will truly be missed by myself and all
that knew him. RIP Gene.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Gene's family. I had the pleasure to have Gene as an employee at Montgomery Ward. He was a fine individual and will be greatly missed by all that knew and worked with him.
